| Carol
Marie Underwood (b.1986) is an undergraduate Composition Major
at Georgia State University, and currently studies with Nickitas J.
Demos. Before GSU Underwood has also studied at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma with Dr. William Price and Dr. Joseph Rivers. In 2008, Carol Underwood participated with her student chapter in hosting the National Society of Composers Conference in Atlanta, GA Underwood enjoys working on several types of projects varying from typical classical ensembles, theater pieces, film scores and other collaborative projects. In 2005, Carol Underwood did film scores for several short student films at the University of Tulsa, and also participated in Sonny Kompanik’s 2006 film scoring workshop. She currently is the vice president of the student chapter of the “Society of Composers, Inc.” at Georgia State. Carol Underwood is a teacher at New Atlanta Conservatory of Music |
